Real Estate: ParkLake chooses the Nooka Space smart office solution offering its customers the option to work remotely from the mall’s garden

September 29, 2021

Following a partnership exclusively for Bucharest, Nooka Space installs the first smart proximity office in the ParkLake garden, thus redefining the concept of "working remotely" for the mall's customers, but also for those who live nearby. Launched on the local market in April this year, is the Irish start-up that initiated in 2020 the first concept of smart proximity offices in the world, because of the pandemic and the changes that occured in the labor market.   In the ParkLake garden is available the Nooka One smart office model, which includes two workstations, high-speed internet, modern furniture and accessories, as well as smart sensors that allow users an easy administration of the space. The access can be done through the mobile application Nooka Space, which can be downloaded from Google Play on Android and IoS devices.   “ParkLake is a great location for Nooka Space, complying with our vision of providing smart and flexible workspaces in highly accessible areas. In addition to the multitude of shops and services, those who choose to work remotely from the Nooka office, can fully enjoy nature, having direct access to the park. Our strategy is to develop a complex network of smart proximity offices in Romania's major cities available in the areas of interest for people ", said Sergiu B?b??an, Country Manager of Nooka Space Romania.   The pandemic has brought many changes in consumer’s behaviour, from the way they shop and spend their spare time, to the way of working. Adapting to and catering for the needs in the present context are absolutely necessary prerequisites, and we therefore encourage innovation and any new solution which aims to improve people's lives. The Nooka proximity smart office fits very well in our ecosystem and we are happy to offer our customers the option of working closer to nature, but also to all the facilities that the mall has to offer ", added Simona Badea, Deputy Center & Marketing Manager ParkLake.   Those who choose to work from a Nooka smart office in the ParkLake’s garden can customize their way of working, from the interval in which they want to rent the space, to the environmental conditions. Thus, they can control air quality, lighting, heating, payments and reservations intelligently, by using the mobile application. The office is also equipped with an air purifier and UV-C lights, to disinfect the space and maintain the highest sanitary standards. The Nooka office can be rented based on a monthly subscription or on hourly rates, as needed.   The Nooka Space business model is complementary to the office market and focuses on mobility and flexibility, offering the options for renting, purchasing and revenue sharing.   Thus, Nooka Space addresses to both private individuals who would like to benefit from their own office, as well as companies and local authorities who want to invest in such facilities and create their own network of local proximity offices to the benefit of people.   The production facilities of the Irish startup Nooka Space are located in Romania, in Cluj-Napoca, and the installation and transport are free throughout the European Union.   At the global level, Nooka offices are located in Ireland, Switzerland and Italy and will soon be present in the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Belgium.   About Nooka Space  Nooka Space is the start-up which developed the first concept of smart and flexible proximity offices in the world. The story of Nooka began in Ireland in 2020, continues in the European Union in 2021 and plans to reach the United States in 2022, from a desire to rewrite the definition of the workspace and help build the offices of the future: smarter, more accessible, more flexible, more intimate and more environmentally friendly. Nooka compact offices can be rented and subleased at affordable costs, helping to build a Nooka community based on creativity and collaboration.   ParkLake Shopping Center is a unique project which harmoniously combines nature and shopping. The modern design combines elements inspired by the three pillars, Park - Nature - Family and offers excellent opportunities to spend free time in relaxing areas, playgrounds, as well as places where one can play sports or spend the day working. Meeting the highest international standards, surrounded by nature and located close to Titan Park, ParkLake offers the best selection of brands available on the market and high quality services in an eco-friendly environment and an enchanting atmosphere.
