REHAU Romania obtains the international "Great place to work" certification

December 14, 2023

REHAU Romania has received the international "Great Place to Work" certification, which certifies the company's efforts to offer its employees the best conditions at work. REHAU Slovakia, REHAU Italy and REHAU Austria also join the list, underlining once again that regardless of the market REHAU prioritises its employees.

The most important aspect that contributed to this certification was REHAU's forward-looking vision, defined by the many investments made to improve employee and customer relations. Thus, REHAU Romania has grown thanks to the group's local investments, such as the new logistics centre in Cisnădie, inaugurated in October, and the relocation of offices in the centre of two key cities - Bucharest and Cluj.

"At REHAU we know how important it is to dedicate ourselves to creating an exceptional work environment characterized by employee satisfaction, innovation and inclusion. Our employees are the driving force of this company, and their performance is what positions REHAU as a major player in the building materials market. The "Great Place to Work" certification validates our continuous efforts to prioritize the well-being of our employees so that we can reward them for their performance", said Alexandru Oprea, Country Manager REHAU Romania.

By investing in the relocation of its offices in Bucharest and Cluj, REHAU Romania has proven that the well-being and satisfaction of its employees are essential to the overall success of the company. Thus, REHAU employees now benefit from modern offices, equipped with the latest technology and diverse areas that meet both the needs of collaboration and quiet concentration.

In addition to improvements to office spaces, REHAU has implemented employee-centric initiatives such as the internal FunDay@Work program, which offers monthly activities designed to strengthen the REHAU team. Through fun activities, different from month to month, employees are encouraged to socialise, have fun, relax and, why not, encourage their creativity.

The Great Place To Work certification assesses workplace culture from an employee perspective, providing the most comprehensive picture of an organisation's internal health on the market. The certification is also recognised globally by both employees and employers and is the global benchmark for identifying and recognising exceptional employee experience. Each year, more than 10,000 companies in 60 countries apply for Great Place to Work certification.
