Effective exchange of information can help prevent security threats from arising. Police officers with the Directorate for Combatting Organised Crime will join an operational support mission of the British authorities. This type of co-operation is an investment in the capabilities of the Romanian Police to fight against organised crime, so as to maintain a high standard in terms of the safety of our citizens."Also discussed at the meeting was professional training and going into a partnership with the Alexandru Ioan Cuza Police Academy in order to improve the response capacity of the Romanian police to the current challenges."The expertise of the specialists within the agency is recognised in the field and, moreover, the NCA can contribute to the success of the reform process we have initiated at the level of this educational establishment. On a more general level, the reform and modernisation of Alexandru Ioan Cuza Academy is an investment in increasing the professionalism and integrity of all weapons within MAI."
