Romanian President To Opposition: Amend Constitution, Reduce Presidential Term And I Will Resign

Romanian President Traian Basescu has written to the leaders of the opposition, asking them to take part in the debates on the Constitution's revision, which would reduce the presidential term to four years, and pledging to resign so that new presidential elections may be held in November.
