Romanians can travel to Thailand without visa

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MAE) announces, through a press release, that it welcomes the implementation, starting on July 15, of the decision of the Kingdom of Thailand to include Romania, along with other states, on the list of states whose citizens can travel to this country without needing an entry visa for a period of up to 60 days.Thus, starting from this date, Romanian citizens who travel to the Kingdom of Thailand for tourism or business purposes for a maximum duration of 60 days will be exempted from the obligation to obtain an entry visa.The decision of the Thai authorities is the result of the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including through the Romanian Embassy in Bangkok, which aimed to facilitate the process of removing visas for Romanian citizens who travel for tourist purposes in this country, the mentioned release informs.
