Romanian authorities are providing direct military support to Ukraine, Yury Pilipson, director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Second European Department, said in an interview with TASS on Sunday."Today, Romania is already involved in providing direct military-logistical support to the regime in Kyiv," the Russian diplomat said.According to him, the Moldovan port of Giurgiulesti, whose operator was acquired by Romania, has been turned "into a transit hub for the delivery of various goods to Ukraine, including those intended for the Ukrainian armed forces."Bucharest has said that the acquisition of the port, through which more than 70% of Moldova's maritime imports and exports pass, represents a step toward "economic reunification", adding that it will be used "for the reconstruction of Ukraine".
