September 11, 2025

The ambassador of the Russian Federation in Bucharest on Thursday was summoned to the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be informed of Romania's position of condemnation of the violation of the Polish airspace by Russian drones, during the night of 9 to 10 September.''By order of the minister of foreign affairs, the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Bucharest was summoned today, September 11, 2025, to the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to be informed of Romania's position of firm condemnation of the violation of the Polish airspace by Russian drones, during the night of 9 to 10 September 2025. The Romanian side stressed that, by gravity, implications and scope, the respective incident represents an unprecedented escalation, as well as a threat to the security of the citizens of an Allied state and strategic partner of Romania.
