Senate's Bolojan meets representatives of Lockheed Martin company

 The President of the Senate, Ilie Bolojan, had a meeting with the representatives of the American company Lockheed Martin, one of the world leaders in the defense industry and aerospace technology."The discussions focused on topics of common interest, in particular technology sharing and economic partnerships. The meeting confirmed the mutual commitment to support innovation and research. The two delegations discussed the investment that Lockheed Martin is considering for the development of a factory dedicated to the production of high-capacity batteries at Sinteza Oradea, together with the national industry, as well as the implementation of research programs, including artificial intelligence", reads a release posted on Monday on the website of the Senate.According to the cited source, the company aims to develop the project in Romania into a European hub in the field of energy efficiency and security, and the research and the necessary components to be carried out with research institutions and companies in Romania.The president of the Senate assured the representatives of Lockheed Martin of institutional support for the implementation of this investment.
