Simtel Team built two electric power stations for Kaufland Romania

Simtel Team (SMTL), a Romanian company for engineering and technology listed on the AeRO market of the Stock Exchange Bucuresti announced on Tuesday that they built for the retailer Kaufland Romania two electric power stations which meant the installation of over 1,300 photovoltaic panels. The company has as a project the construction of 3.5 MW of photovoltaic power stations, which mean over 9,300 photovoltaic panels.   The panels installed on the roofts of two shops situated in Bucuresti and Focsani have a capacity of 490.5 KWp and come to support the environment through the reduction by over 760 tons per year of carbon dioxide emissions.   The two projects for installation of photovoltaic panels were made for the shops Kaufland Focsani and Kaufland Militari in Bucuresti. On the roof of Kaufland Bucuresti there were installed 720 photovoltaic panels, on a surface of over 1,300 square metres, and on the roof of the Focsani shop there were installed 588 panels, on a surface of over 1000 square metres. The period of project, authorization, acquisition, installation and putting into work was over two months and a half.   The annual production of electricity made by the two shops will be 639.8 MWh, out of which 358.5 MWh will be generated by the shop in Bucuresti and 281.3 MWh by the shop in Focsani. The Simtel Team people will ensure the maintenance of photovoltaic panels, corrections of any type made in 24 hours, and annual revisions to prevent any potential unpleasant situations in the future.   With over 105 projects of photovoltaic power stations built, Simtel Team is a pioneer in Romania in the domain of solar energy. Between 2018 – 2020, the company built approximately half of the photovoltaic power stations in Romania, both as number and as installed power.   At present, the company has as project to build 3.5 MW photovoltaic power stations, which means over 9,300 photovoltaic panels. Out of these projects, seven will have installed power between 400 and 500 KW. Similarly, Simtel Team works for the implementation of photovoltaic projects of smaller dimensions, with installed capacity between 80 and 120 KW.   Simtel Team has been listed on the AeRO market starting with 1st July 2021. On 23rd August 2021, the SMTL shares were traded at a price of 29.2 lei per share, the company having a market capital of over 200 million lei.   Simtel Team is a Romanian company, founded in 2010 by three Romanian entrepreneurs : Iulian Nedea, Sergiu Bazarciuc and Radu Vilau. The company is listed on the AeRo market of the Stock Exchange Bucuresti under the symbol SMTL and operates in three domains of activity- telecommunications, renewable energy and industrial automation. Simtel is specialized in supplying integration services to mobile telecommunication operators, construction and maintenance of photovoltaic power stations, as well as automation of industrial processes.
