According to a press release sent by the CoE on Friday, special Representative of the Secretary General on Migration and Refugees Leyla Kayacik (SRSG) will visit the country in order to determine the situation of vulnerable people who continue to flee Ukraine and explore possibilities for the Council of Europe to provide support to the authorities in coping with the challenges they are faced with. Meetings will be scheduled with the relevant ministries, with the People’s Advocate of Romania, with representatives of International Organisations and NGOs. The Special Representative will also visit registration and reception centres.
