The minister of finances: On Saturday the budget will be adopted in the government

  The draft budget for 2025 will be finalized on Thursday, and Saturday it will be approved in the government and next week in the parliament, announced on Wednesday night the minister of finances, Tanczos Barna.‘It is a frugal budget (…). We have the figures and the calculations done. Tomorrow the budget is finalized and we will present the figures exactly (…). The calendar is finalized. On Saturday we adopt the budget in the government. On Saturday it is sent to the parliament, there will follow the period of amendments lodging and next Saturday, surely, the budget is approved in the parliament’ explained Tanczos Barna in a statement sent by TVRInfo.He mentioned that the budget includes money for investments in infrastructure, for salary and pension payments at the level of November 2024. ‘The budget covers highways for 20 million Romanians, the budget includes money for all the Romanians for the rural infrastructure development, we have money to pay the salaries in Education, the ministry of interior affairs, all the ministries needing salaries, at the level of 2024, we have ensured financing for all pensions (…).What I can tell you about the pensions is that the necessary sums for pensions payment are in the budget. All pensions can be sure that pensions, as they were calculated and paid last year in November-December will be paid in 2025 every month’ said the minister of finances, also mentioning that the Ministry of Defence will have a larger budget than the one in 2024.   (Photo:https://www.facebook.com/)
