The production of gas of OMV Petrom dropped by 14.5% over the last quarter of last year

The production of gas of OMV Petrom was lower by 14.5% over the last quarter of last year, as compared to the similar period of 2020, getting to 62,400 barrels of oil equivalent per day (bep/day), according to a report sent by the company, on Thursday to the Stock Exchange Bucuresti.As compared to the third quarter of 2021, the production in the fourth quarter of 2021 was slightly going up from 61,900 bep/day.The representatives of the company explained, in the past, that the drop in production year after year is a result of the natural decline of the deposits, the majority being mature.Total hydrocarbon production decreased by 12, 5% to 122.200 bep/day and crude oil production by 11% to 59.800 bep/day.At the same time, the refinery's utilization rate was 101% and the refining margin 7, 52%.
