The Romanian Tourism Fair - autumn edition started on Thursday

The autumn edition of the Romanian Tourism Fair (TTR) begins at Romexpo exhibition centre on Thursday and for four days visitors will be able to discover attractive offers, destinations for every preference, immersive experiences and innovative solutions for planning future holidays.The event takes place in Pavilion B2 of the Exhibition Centre, which becomes a platform for travel inspiration for winter 2025, next year's city breaks, exotic destinations and early booking packages for summer 2026.This autumn's edition of the fair brings together 103 exhibiting companies and has an internationalisation rate of 41 percent, confirming the diversity and appeal of the event at regional and international level.'The Romanian Tourism Fair - autumn edition - is a complete platform where visitors can shape their holiday choices in an informed and advantageous way, while professionals can test market interest and develop new relevant partnerships. We invite all those interested in well planned travel to turn their visit to Romexpo into the starting point of the next tourist season,' Romexpo commercial director Oana Netbai said.According to the organisers, visitors will benefit from substantial discounts throughout the fair, available exclusively on site. For summer 2026 discounts of up to 50 percent are available in destinations such as Greece (Crete, Santorini, Zakynthos), Türkiye (Antalya, Bodrum, Kusadasi), Spain (Costa Brava, Tenerife, Mallorca), Egypt (Hurghada, Sharm El Sheikh), Tunisia, while for winter holidays discounts of up to 30 percent apply for tourist areas in Romania, Austria, Italy, France, Germany and Finland.City breaks are also available with discounts of up to 35 percent in destinations such as Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Lisbon, Amsterdam, Vienna, Prague, Brussels and Istanbul, while exotic destinations and themed tours are up to 25 percent cheaper for itineraries including Sri Lanka, Bali, Thailand, Maldives, Seychelles, Zanzibar, Cuba, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Kenya and Tanzania, Japan, South Korea.The offers are valid subject to availability and can be personalised directly at exhibitors' stands with on site advice.'One of the highlights of the fair is ?Herculane Stories,' the first virtual museum in Romania dedicated to a tourist resort. The concept, inspired by the unboxing museum format, brings together the heritage of Baile Herculane and digital technology for an immersive and easy to explore experience. Visitors will be able to discover rare documents and photographs, interviews and local stories, 3D reconstructions and digital illustrations, information about Roman spa traditions and the historical evolution of the resort,' the organisers point out in the press release.The Romanian Tourism Fair also includes a wide programme of presentations, debates and professional meetings organised in partnership with organisations, associations and specialist platforms.The event is open to the public from Thursday to Saturday between 10.00 and 18.00 and on Sunday between 10.00 and 16.00.
