TOMMY HILFIGER ATTENDED THE OPENING OF ITS NEW STORE IN MYKONOS

TOMMY HILFIGER, celebrated together with international and national media, local authorities and influencers from all over the world the opening of its TOMMY HILFIGER store in Mykonos, Greece. Located in the heart of one of the most popular global summer destinations, the new store effortlessly blends TOMMY HILFIGER’s nautical heritage with the magic of the Mediterranean, offering a seamless fusion of contemporary style and island tradition. The event was commemorated with a multi-day getaway and an exclusive “meet & greet” with Mr. Tommy Hilfiger and amongst the friends and family attending were supermodel Romee Strijd, influencer Xenia Adonts and actor Lucien Laviscount.

 

TOMMY’S NEW HOME IN MYKONOS

 

Set amongst Mykonian whitewashed buildings, the picturesque store is designed in line with the aesthetics of the island. Crafted with local willow ceilings and limestone marble flooring for a refreshed touch, the space pays homage to the traditional Cycladic style. An intimate sitting area surrounds an olive tree, complemented by subtle store signage that harmoniously integrates with the iconic landscape of Mykonos. Additionally, a shaded outdoor lounge invites guests to relax and refresh while enjoying the serene surroundings. Inspired by the brand’s red, white and blue DNA, the Mykonos location incorporates the distinctive Tommy attitude with an irreverent clash of classic and modern.

 

The 150 square meter store features multiple TOMMY HILFIGER Spring 2024 collections including Menswear, Womenswear, Footwear, Accessories, Underwear and Swimwear that adhere to Classic American Cool roots and red, white and blue DNA. The store is operated by SARKK SA, which is also the official representative of the brand in Bulgaria.

 

TOMMY’S SUMMER GETAWAY

 

The launch of the first TOMMY HILFIGER store in Mykonos was celebrated with a weekend spent with the brand’s friends and family. The guests arrived at, a state-of-the-art hotel offering private pools and sundecks, as well as its own secluded beach. An extensive welcome kit was prepared for the guests, with Tommy branded pieces and everything needed for the perfect holiday.

 

Friends and family of Tommy wore the new Summer 2024 collection, spending the weekend in relaxed fit linen, laid back Oxford shirts and chic swimwear and at night enjoyed live music by DJ Tjani as they shopped for summer essentials like swimwear, sunglasses and sandals. The celebratory days continued with a morning swim at a famous beach, followed by a day aboard a luxury yacht for the ultimate boating experience – complete with an in-person Q&A with Mr. Tommy Hilfiger himself. The getaway wrapped up with a beautiful dinner at local farm-to-table restaurant, where the group wore their favorite summer go-tos including airy kaftans, elegant crochet dresses, classic gingham blazers with shorts, flowing maxi dresses, versatile linen blazers and shirts, and breathable sandals.

 

The TOMMY HILFIGER store in Mykonos is welcoming all summer travellers at the heart of Matogiannia to explore the codes of Americana style while creating unforgettable memories in sportier and reinvented classical silhouettes.
