The exhibition "Via Transilvanica - The Road that Unites" has opened in Salzburg, Austria, with the project proposing to promote genuine Romania through dialogue, hospitality and respect for the natural and cultural heritage. The initiative brings to the fore one of the most important long-distance hikes in Europe and the values it promotes: the link between regions, cultures and generations.According to the Romanian Embassy in Austria, the exhibition is organised by the Consulate General of Romania in Salzburg and the Romanian Embassy in Austria and brings together images and information about the route of over 1,400 kilometres created by the Tasuleasa Social Association, which has become a landmark of sustainable tourism and the valorisation of the natural and cultural heritage.The opening of the exhibition took place on July 28, in Salzburg, in the presence of representatives of the Austrian authorities, the academic and cultural communities, the consular corps and the Romanian community. During the event, Anna Szekely, on behalf of the Tasuleasa Social Association, presented the story of Via Transilvanica and how the project, built in over two decades of volunteer work, has become one of the most famous initiatives to promote Romania.According to the information sent by the Romanian Embassy in Austria, the Salzburg presentation continues the international itinerary of the exhibition, which began in Vienna, and is part of the efforts to promote Romania in Austria.
