Transelectrica had last year losses of 6 million lei, from a net profit of 145 million lei in 2020

The national transporter for energy Transelectrica reported last year losses of 6 million lei, from a net profit of 145 million lei in 2020.Total net revenue in 2021 with 12% at 1.345 billion lei.The investments made by the company in 2021 were 466 million lei.  ‘The total operational income made between January and December 2021 had a growth of 58% as compared to the same period of the previous year (3.746 billion lei in 2021 against 2.367 billion lei in 2020), determined mainly by the growth of the quantity of electricity delivered to the users, the increase of the average transport tariff and the growth of the income made on the balancing market” the data of the company say. On 31st December 2021, the company records debts to get worth 208 million lei, represented by the bills issued according to the aid scheme bonus-type for the promotion of high efficiency co-generation. The domestic net consumption of the country increased by 5% up to 58.3 TWh and the domestic net production with 6% at 56,1 TWh. The net import was 2.2 TWh, dropping by 21%.
