Transilvania Construcții: Top 5 most important consumer industries

April 23, 2024

The industrial and logistics hubs developed by Transilvania Construcții serve top industries such as building materials, automobiles, food, IT, medical, and pharmaceutical, according to internal company statistics.

Strategically developed in the Western and Eastern parts of the country, the company offers supply chain projects with more than 250,000 rentable m2 in 83 industrial and logistic spaces, which contribute - actively - to the movement of the most important and consumed goods in Romania. "Having been anchored in this market for many years, I have increasingly realized how important the logistics and warehousing industry actually is and how much it participates in our comfort, lifestyle, and most of our needs on a daily basis. We are therefore happy to bring this contribution to our country through our work," says Andrei Timofte - General Manager - Transilvania Construcții.

Thus, in the company's sites, construction materials cover 21% of the total 250,000 m2 available for rent, the automotive industry uses 16%, the food industry covers 10%, IT has more than 5% leased, and the medical and pharmaceutical sector has 3%, which amounts to more than half of the spaces offered by Transilvania Construcții
On the other hand, a statistic on the predominant type of activity shows that more than half of the total leased area of the TRC Parks portfolio (54%) is dedicated to warehousing and distribution, 35% - production, 3% - logistics activity, the same percentage is dedicated to courier and telecommunications covers 2%.
Transilvania Construcții properties are located in the city or on the outskirts of Romania's main cities and main transport routes. The type of premises ranges from large buildings, mainly used as distribution centers, to urban warehouses, strategically located near major population centers.
"We are present in five cities and accommodate eight industrial and logistics parks for our clients, totaling over 250,000 m2. Transilvania Construcții is constantly looking for new opportunities for the company's expansion and continues to implement the investment plan in green energy generation in all our parks, a project started last year," explains Andrei Timofte.
