What we see here is the power of experience and the community of connected people, willing to share the knowledge and expertise they have for new corridors (...) between Romania and the United Arab Emirates," the Romanian ambassador to the UAE, Octavian Badica, said.In his turn, the president of UAEROBC, Marius Marinoff, told the WAM news agency that the main objective of establishing this council is to intensify the cooperation between the business communities of the two countries and to realize the vision of the two presidents - Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates, and Klaus Iohannis, the president of Romania - to stimulate investments and commercial exchanges between Romania and the UAE, aiming to reach 100 billion dollars."This council will bring numerous benefits to several economic sectors in both countries and will contribute to the development of trade and mutual investments," the honorary president of the UAE Romanian Business Council, Sheikh Hamdan bin Khalifa bin Hamdan Al Nahyan, said.Sheikha Dr. Hind Abdul Aziz Al Qasimi, founder and president of Emirates International Business Club, highlighted the essential role of business councils as means of communication between Emirati entrepreneurs and their global counterparts and urged local companies to explore opportunities in Romania.
