The Unifarm National Company and the employers' association of Confindustria Romania signed on Monday, in Milan, Italy, a cooperation protocol for the development of economic ties between Italy and Romania in the pharmaceutical sector, following a series of joint actions.Under the collaboration protocol, the two entities have set ambitious objectives, such as: promoting economic cooperation between the two countries based on common values and close ties; organising business meetings; promoting participation in jointly organised exhibitions and fairs; organising trade missions, seminars, symposiums, conferences and other activities in order to improve knowledge about the economy of the pharmaceutical sector in the two countries, as well as promoting business development and identifying partners for mutually beneficial trade.In addition to the signing of the protocol, in the presence of the official representatives of the Consulate General of Romania in Milan and of some carefully selected Italian pharmaceutical companies, General Manager Adrian Marius Dobre presented the strategic role that the Unifarm National Company plays in the Romanian medical system and its strategic role in ensuring that the Romanian market has access to the latest and most effective medicines and therapies for patients in Romania.The agreement between the two entities will also bring significant benefits to both nations and economies. Italy, on the one hand, will be able to witness the consolidation of the presence of its companies on a strategic foreign market such as Romania, promoting innovation and the quality of its pharmaceutical products. On the other hand, Romania will gain easier access to high-quality medicines, contributing to raising standards of care and improving the well-being of its own population."The pharmaceutical industry in Romania is developing rapidly.
