Save Romania Union (USR) President Dan Barna is not ruling out the option of having a joint list of candidates in the European Parliament elections with the party that Dacian Ciolos is setting up, having stated on Sunday, for MEDIAFAX, that “all options are currently on the table.” “All options are currently on the table. We are talking not just for the EP elections in particular but we are also working on and talking about the setting up of a long-term alternative,” USR President and House lawmaker Dan Barna stated when asked whether he is negotiating with Dacian Ciolos a joint list of candidates in the European Parliament elections of 2019. He added that the USR has constant and “somewhat permanent” collaboration with Dacian Ciolos. “At this moment we are talking about and building an outlook for everything entailed by future electoral events, not just the European Parliament elections in particular. We consider that Romania currently needs joint development objectives that would become the real alternative to what is happening now and to what is being delivered by the PSD which has been stealing the future for the past two years. From this standpoint, yesterday’s message, the December 1st message, the United message, falls in the same line of collaboration and setting up of joint political objectives that would create that alternative that Romania desperately needs at this moment,” Barna added.
