Victor Micula returns to the position of Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Victor Micula returns to the position of Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, by a decision of the PM Viorica Dancila, who dismissed him in January 2018. Through a decision of PM Dancila published on Wednesday in the Official Journal, Victor Micula was appointed as Secretary of State in MAE (Ministry of Foreign Affairs – e.n.). Also, by another decision of the Prime Minister, Cristian-Gabriel Winzer was dismissed from the position of Secretary of State in MAE. This January, Victor Micula was dismissed from the position of Secretary of State in MAE by PM Viorica Dancila’s decision, who appointed Andreea Pastirnac as Secretary of State in this ministry. Victor Micula was appointed as Secretary of State in MAE in February 2016, by PM Dacian Ciolos. Before this, he was the Romanian Ambassador to Hungary. Micula has been working in diplomacy for more than 20 years. He was also an Ambassador in Argentina, Denmark and Island, as well as Director for Strategic Policies within MAE, the National Coordinator for Organizing the NATO Summit in Bucharest and Secretary General of MAE.
