Volodymyr Zelensky invited the new president of Romania to pay a visit to #Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky invited the newly elected President of Romania, Nicusor Dan, to visit Ukraine.   Volodymyr Zelensky announced on Monday that he had a discussion with Nicusor Dan, congratulating him on his victory in the presidential elections.   "I spoke with the newly elected President of Romania, Nicusor Dan. I congratulated him on his victory in the presidential elections. It is essential for Romania to continue to develop and for all of us to cooperate in our region and throughout Europe. We respect Romania and the choice of the Romanian people. This is a country on which much depends when it comes to security issues. We are deeply grateful for Romania's contribution to protecting the lives of our people. It is important that support for Ukraine continues. Romania understands how crucial the fight for freedom and justice is," wrote Zelensky.   The Ukrainian President also revealed that he invited Nicusor Dan to visit Ukraine. "I invited Nicusor Dan to visit Ukraine. We also discussed the nearest meeting opportunities," specified Volodymyr Zelensky.   On Monday morning, in a message posted on X, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated Nicusor Dan for his victory - which he considers "historic" - in the Romanian presidential elections, expressing his "great respect for Romania and the Romanian people" at the same time.   "Congratulations to Nicusor Dan for the historic victory in the Romanian presidential elections," wrote Volodymyr Zelensky on X, in a message transmitted in Romanian, English, and Ukrainian.   "For Ukraine - as a neighbor and friend - it is important to have Romania as a reliable partner. We are confident that it will be so. Through collaboration, we can strengthen both our countries and our Europe," added Volodymyr Zelensky.
