In the first nine months of this year the Electrica Group distributed a volume of electricity of 13,460.7 GWh, up 2.08% compared to the same period in 2024, and supplied a volume of 5,462.7 GWh, down 2.74%, according to preliminary operational indicators transmitted to the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) on Wednesday.Electricity to cover own technological consumption (CPT) totaled 1,203.3 GWh, down from 1,276.1 in the period January-September 2024.According to data submitted to BVB, the volume of electricity supplied in the competitive segment was 3,661 GWh (3,499.5 GWh in the first nine months of 2024), and in the universal service and FUI (Supplier of Last Resort) segment 1,801.7 GWh (2,116.9 GWh in 9 months of 2024).The volume of natural gas supplied by the company to the retail market increased from 379.5 GWh in the first three quarters of last year, to 516.5 GWh in the same period of 2025.At the end of September, Electrica had 3,373,500 electricity consumption places, compared to 3,478,200 in the same month of 2024.Regarding the production segment, in the mentioned period Electrica produced a quantity of electricity of 12,297.7 MWh (7,434 MWh in 9 months of 2024).The green certificates produced amounted to 43,326 units (44,604 in January-September 2024).
