DefMin Les: Procurement procedure of multifunctional corvettes within deadline

National Defence Minister Gabriel Les mentioned on Wednesday that the purchase of the multifunctional corvettes is still in process, being audited through an order of former Defence Minister Mihai Fifor. He mentioned that it isn’t complete, adding that the procedure is audited by an order of the former minister and when all the details will be gathered, more information will be available, probably in the coming days,” the minister said. Gabriel Les participated on Wednesday in the opening of the conference called “The defence and security of Europe and the Black Sea region – the UK, Romania and BREXIT,” together with British Ambassador in Bucharest Andrew Nobel.
